Claude Desktop Setup

Connect Claude Desktop to Steerco to manage presentations with natural language.

Configuration

Add the following to your Claude Desktop config file:
Edit ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json:

Getting Started

  1. Save the config and restart Claude Desktop
  2. Look for steerco in the MCP tools menu (hammer icon)
  3. On first use, a browser window opens to sign in with your Steerco account
  4. After signing in, Claude can access your Steerco workspace

Once connected, try asking Claude:
  • “List my presentations”
  • “Generate a quarterly business review using the Executive template”
  • “Export my latest presentation as a PDF”
  • “What templates do I have available?”
  • “Search for accounts related to Acme Corp”
