Steerco syncs files from an S3 bucket from AWS S3 into your records.

What you need

  • An AWS account that can create IAM users.
  • The name of the S3 bucket that holds your files.

Get your credentials in AWS

Create a user

In the IAM console, create a user for Steerco.

Give the user read access

Give the user permission to list your bucket and read its files.

Create an access key

On the user’s Security credentials tab, click Create access key. Choose Other, then create the key.

Copy the keys

Copy the access key ID and the secret access key. AWS shows the secret only once.

Connect AWS S3 in Steerco

Open your integrations

Go to Settings > Integrations.

Choose AWS S3

In the Connectors section, click Add connector. If the workspace already has connectors, the button reads Add. In the Connect integration dialog, click the AWS S3 tile.

Enter your credentials

Enter AWS Access Key Id, AWS Secret Access Key, and Bucket Name. To read only one folder, enter its path in Bucket Path Prefix. Click Connect your data.
When the connection works, Steerco shows Successfully Connected.
