Steerco syncs customer success data, such as companies, CTAs and timeline activity, from Gainsight into your records.

What you need

  • An OAuth API key and secret. A Gainsight super admin creates them.
  • Your Gainsight domain. It’s the address you use to sign in to Gainsight, such as acme.us2.gainsightcloud.com.

Get your credentials in Gainsight

Create a connection

In Gainsight, go to Administration > Connectors 2.0 and click Create Connection.

Choose the Gainsight API

In Connector, choose Gainsight API. Enter a name in Name of the connection.

Choose OAuth

Under Authentication Type, select OAuth. Leave the IP allowlist empty, because Steerco doesn’t connect from fixed IP addresses.

Generate the credentials

Click Generate OAuth Credentials. Copy the OAuth API key and the OAuth API secret.

Connect Gainsight in Steerco

Open your integrations

Go to Settings > Integrations.

Choose Gainsight

In the Connectors section, click Add connector. If the workspace already has connectors, the button reads Add. In the Connect integration dialog, click the Gainsight tile.

Enter your credentials

Enter your domain in Gainsight Domain, the key in OAuth API Key, and the secret in OAuth API Secret. Click Connect your data.
When the connection works, Steerco shows Successfully Connected.
